Our Sunday

Welcome! We are delighted that you have chosen to explore our church online. We encourage you to come on Sunday and experience in person one of our many classes and then worship with us in the sanctuary.

Our worship service is a blend of traditional and contemporary and begins every Sunday at 10:50 A.M. We open with annoucements, greetings and Children's Moment. Children's Moment is a time for all our little ones and youth to come to the front of the church for a 3 to 5 minute lesson that has been created just for them to participate in. After Children's Moment our children ages birth to 5 are welcome to go with our caretaker back to the nursery for fun play time. In addition, for parents/guardians we offer a cry room located in the sanctuary that may be utilized during the worship service.

Please review our current Sunday School offerings from the list below. All Sunday School classes begin at 9:45 A.M. The ages listed with each group is a guideline not mandatory. You are welcome to join any class where you feel most at home.

Nursery - Birth to Age 2 (up to Kindergarten during Worship): Our nursery (SS Room 1) is open during the 9:45 AM Sunday School hour for infants to 2 years and then during the 10:50 AM Worship Service for infants and children up to 5 years of age. We offer cribs, safe age-appropriate toys and a loving environment.

Our Youth will be studying The Dirty Dozen starting June 2009. The Dirty Dozen is a 16 week study on the 12 Disciples. Students will look at the lives of each of the Twelve and discover how Christ used them and their gifts in order to find ways that Christ can use our gifts today.
Theme: A character study on the 12 Disciples
Redeemers - College to 40 Years Old: Location: 2nd Room above Fellowship Hall
Teacher: Roxie Walker-Behrens
We welcome singles and couples. Our curriculum is chosen by the participating class members and is usually based on present day books. Our class lesson references scripture while applying those lessons to modern day life. We encourage each other to grow and become the leaders of today in our church and community. Our teacher is a former school teacher and principal who teaches from career and personal experience. She is fun, upbeat and includes all in her weekly lesson. We welcome you to become a REDEEMER!
Shepherds - Age 40 and up: Location: SS Wing Room 5
Teacher: Donna Holle

Our Shepherds have an open invitation to all ages that enjoy lively discussion of God's word. A forum where everyone participates by sharing their interpretations.
Crusaders - Age 50 and up: Location: Parlor in the Fellowship Hall
Teacher: Judy Baker

We are a diverse group of all ages, both male and female, singles and couples, who enjoy fellowship and Bible Study and its application to tomorrow's life. The life experiences of each class member enrich the vibrancy of the discussion. Each International Sunday School Lesson is self-standing enabling you to join us for one Sunday or forever.
